Playing The Come Bet With Odds
Taking advantage of free odds works like adding odds to the Pass Line bet. After the "Come Point" is established, you can put the odds bets down. The odds bets don't pay, however, until the Pass Line point is established. When the Come Point is 6 or 8, you can also put $25 behind $10 in the form of odds bets, and this is advantageous for the winner, since it pays off with more money.
The difference between the Pass Line and Come bets is that the Pass Line bet is made BEFORE the come-out point is established; the Come bet is made AFTER it is established. With the Come bet, you have a "point" that is particular to you and you only.
For example, let's say that the six is the point. You make a Come bet. The next roll establishes your Come Point. If it's an 8, then your Come Point is 8. If you then make another Come bet, the number that comes out on the next roll after you made the bet is the Come Point for the second bet.
Knowing how to mae the various bets will add to your enjoyment of craps, and add to your chances of winning!
